The newly adopted social distancing life is coming to an end. We have been trying to open a market to raise funds for our cause, but it had to remain online for quite a while.
When we saw that there would be a flea market in a nearby town, we did not hesitate - we brought our collection of donations, hand-made beads bracelets, and other goods to sell under the sizzling sun.
We enjoyed talking to our neighbors in person and were able to raise about half of what we aimed for. We will add our online sales and will have another market soon to reach our goal to cover the cost of one child refugee.
