In South Korea, May 5th is Children's Day. Voice Us members have been participating in an annual event hosted by the Ministry of Unification and the Youth Forum of North Korea Democratization, the Golden Bell Quiz Show on North Korea. Other international schools also took part in the quiz, and we all had the chance to learn more about human rights in North Korea and the measures taken to democratize and denuclearize North Korea. We felt the need to publicize the need for unification since the topic is largely overlooked by the younger generation and discuss more on what the ideal unification of the two Koreas would look like.
