Today, Voice Us participated in the 2023 Seoul International Youth Conference for Advancing Children's and Youth Human Rights of North Korea, hosted by the Youth Forum for North Korea Democratization and the Ministry of Unification. The conference included talk shows and speech contests, where Voice Us presented a 10-minute speech on children's rights in North Korea. It was indeed a fascinating experience to hear other teams' speeches on North Korea, and today we had the time to learn from one another and appreciate our privileges. The talk show included experts on North Korea, such as the representative of NKWatch, journalists, and professors with interests in international relations. Voice Us members fully engaged in the talk show and shared reflections. Furthermore, as today is Memorial Day (현충일), we all expressed gratitude to our common ancestors who paved the way for today's Korea. Although Voice Us did not win first place, we all appreciated the chance to learn more about North Korea and human rights!
